  • Instead, make it a Reading Room & Learning & Discussion Centre
  • Each library is managed by volunteers themselves and the readers.
  • Library activities in each unit: Storytelling, poetry recitation, book loud reading, book talks, discussions on social issues and book quiz sessions. These aims to promote the joy of Reading. 
  • Visits & Public talks & interaction sessions wth visitors from several places. These have been found very useful by readers.
  • Periodic mini book exhibitions cum sales of books for youth from reputed publishers conducted in different towns & villages, right up to the last China border village in upper Lohit Valley.
  • Extension Service is the Core of the Movement: The reader- volunteers in their spare time & even on working days, work to spread the joy of reading among those who are not yet visitors to the library.
  • In effect, the Library goes out to the readers in schools near, as well as far.
